Welcome to CCJ’10 – FINALLY – It’s HERE!

After 18 months of planning, CCJ’10 is finally here. Somewhere around 375 Youth, 111 of their Leaders, and around 165 Offer of Service Volunteers are finally living at Camp Everton. With Camp opened by our Camp Chief (Tony Copperthwaite), and help from many, including the Dragon Dancers, events start in earnest today. First 3 busloads headed for the waterpark at Bingeman’s, everyone else at events in camp (rocketeering, orienteering, archery, I could go on). Hurry up and have fun, first day’s almost over!
For me, the week was a success when the first kid, moving at high-speed, said “The Dragon Dancers were awesome, got to go”, and yup, she was gone.
