Home away from home

AMAZING, that’s the word to describe Jamboree!!!!
I’ve meet French people…all the way from Africa!!! Some others from Nova Scotia and plenty of great people from Ontario! Food is fantastic, no cooking, no cleaning! We’ve got shower and all! Jamboree staff certainly made sure we would be comfortable!
Kids are having a real blast! No need for bedtime stories, they all pass-out before their curfew time! lol
So far the sun is good to us, a bit colder a night but the bright open sky full of stars make it all worth while. Nightly campfires, lots of songs and skits, scouters’ five is a nice way to close the campfire. Bugs are not too hungry….yeah for us!
6th Toronto people are great to be around with. For the daily activities, we are grouped with other Ontario groups; good ways to meet everyone here! I’ve taken so many pictures already and looking forward to show them off. Trying my best to capture the scouting spirit…it will remain in my heart forever!
Can’t wait to trade some badges this afternoon and all the other fun stuff ahead.
